What Saskatoon needs is a synergy of uses. Something aligned with the BRT lines where the greatest population of young adults frequent. A place that has many connection points for all types of travel. Look at this location that I was reminded of today. It takes advantage of shared resources and it will bolster great activities between many spaces like Griffiths Stadium, the Field House, and Merlis Belsher Place. Can’t you just see the University benefiting from such a location and arrangement? Since some want us to quickly ignore obvious facts of this situation, how about we look at what the real benefits are for our city if professional soccer does come here? And remember that City Council has to approve any and all construction and demolition on the Prairieland Park site and they are under no obligation to do so if not in the absolute best interests of the City of Saskatoon. So, if you have your choice, and your Councillor is listening to you, where would you prefer a facility like this to be built in our city?
