The City of Saskatoon identified chemical buffers around existing chemical operations up in the north end of the city. The problem is that the City neglected to properly inform  and purchasers that their land exists within a safety buffer required around these chemical facilities.

The only City of Saskatoon Storm Water Pond that was fenced prior to a little boy drowning was in a dog park on the east side of the city to keep the dogs out of the mud and water. The Dundonald Storm Water Pond was not being kept as promised by the City.

Helping people off opiates in a reasonable and controlled way will help free up more resources for those who could not be caught earlier in the system and have become addicted and out of control.

This pandemic is an unprecedented experience for most of us. It is not the time to use the pandemic to advertise a personal political brand.

After four presentation to the City, my matter of public safety has still not been suitably dealt with.

The Saskatoon Fire Service does not have its own smoke and fire training simulator and it would be a high priority of mine to change this as Mayor. 

I believe that great strides have been made in our local police force under the programs started by Chief Weighill and now furthered by Chief Cooper. Tweaks might be called for, but I will never be in agreement with any calls for some blanket defunding of the police force.
