The City of Saskatoon identified chemical buffers around existing chemical operations up in the north end of the city. The problem is that the City neglected to properly inform and purchasers that their land exists within a safety buffer required around these chemical facilities.
The only City of Saskatoon Storm Water Pond that was fenced prior to a little boy drowning was in a dog park on the east side of the city to keep the dogs out of the mud and water. The Dundonald Storm Water Pond was not being kept as promised by the City.
