In the 2020 municipal election, I garnered 2,650 votes from Saskatoon taxpayers. At that time, I was virtually unknown, having never run for office before. My self-funded campaign, with the help of a marketing manager, was the most cost-effective, focusing on substance and detail over flashy advertising and name recognition.
Over the last four years, I have been actively involved with civic issues, attending Council and Committee meetings, submitting comments and letters to the editor, posting videos and blogs on various topics and fielding emails and messages with your concerns and questions.
My understanding now of the workings (and failures) at City Hall is much greater and there’s work to be done. The discontent at the current state of our city is high and voter turnout is expected to reflect this.
If you believe in me, please talk to your co-workers, friends and family. Help spread the word.
Thank you for supporting my campaign.
